Dad appreciation post!!! 20 years in the military, followed by 20 years of engineering 🇺🇸 Congrats on retirement 🫶🏻 Now you have so much free time to help me with home projects 😉🏠 *sound on to hear the walk out song he picked 😂* SO THANKFUL I FOUND THIS ICING HACK!!!!! This is the best baking hack. Every time I used icing, I would make the biggest mess 😂🧁🍰 Now icing cake, cupcakes, and cookies is mess free 👏🏻 Here is my buttercream icing recipe: I baked vanilla cupcakes from scratch for the first time 🧁 How’d I do?!!! I cohosted a wedding shower yesterday, and I was on dessert duty (are we surprised? lol)🧁🤍 I’m so proud of how they turned out 🥲 Outdoor home project: installing new grass pt. 2!!! Wait until you see the before and after at the end!!! If you saw my last video, a few sections of my yard were looking ROUGH! I have been a bad first time homeowner and wasn’t keeping up with watering my grass 🫣 - specifically the sections that get more shade. My parents were a HUGE HELP with this home project 🏠 I started by raking up the old dirt. Then, I laid down dirt with fertilizer - it’s specifically meant for new grass. Then, it was GRASS TIME! We installed a little less than a pallet of grass 🌱 Phew 😮‍💨, this was tough, but I’m so grateful the Houston weather cooperated - the breeze felt GREAT. Now it’s up to me to keep this grass alive 😂
